The painting is a representation of a harbor where two lovers shared memories, shed tears after a separation of love through distance. Waiting and hoping that one day their love will find home again within the harbour.

This Art Deco-inspired painting reminds the artist of his childhood days, making paper boats and setting them free to float down the river that ran alongside his house. The shapes are very simple but create a meaning and symbolises a memory.
